Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture is a holistic healing practice that has been used for thousands of years to restore balance and promote the body’s natural ability to heal. It involves the gentle insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body to regulate the flow of Qi (vital energy) in the meridians, improve circulation, and support the function of internal organs.

Acupuncture can be highly effective in relieving pain, reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, enhancing digestion, regulating hormones, strengthening the immune system and supporting overall emotional and physical wellness. By addressing the root cause of imbalance rather than just the symptoms, acupuncture offers a powerful, natural approach to long-term health and well-being.

The sessions: what to expect

• Each session begins with a brief consultation to discuss your symptoms, concerns, and how you're feeling overall.

• You'll then receive a personalized acupuncture treatment. Fine needles are placed and typically remain in place for about 20 minutes while you rest.

• Sessions may be complemented with additional modalities such as intuitive energy support, fire cupping, or gua sha when appropriate. These techniques are used to enhance the effects of acupuncture and support relaxation, circulation, and release.

• All complementary modalities are included within the session and used only when needed.

• There is no recovery or downtime required after treatment. If cupping or gua sha is used, temporary marks may appear and usually fade on their own within a few days.
